Rabbits World Tour

Mount Wolseley and Coollattin

Fri & Sat 17 & 18 June 2011

All things considered, we were very lucky with the weather.  There was a continuous downpour as I was driving to Tullow, and still raining when I arrived.  I was delighted to see that all Rabbits who had confirmed their places had turned up - great faith in the weather forecasters who said it would dry up in the afternoon.  We went out at around 2pm and had sunshine for most of the afternoon.  The course was damp, but certainly not flooded.  The golf was good and we finished off the evening with a great meal and a spectacular prize-giving ceremony (followed by a drink or two and some reminiscing about what might have been).
On Saturday, inspired by Rory McIlroy's performance in the US Open, we headed for Coollattin.  We were joined by some Rabbits who hadn't been able to make it on Friday.  The weather was mixed, but there was some very competitive golf.
